Through our systematic approach to problem solving, we at the Center for Community Problem Solving team up with clients and with other diverse institutions and individuals to:

• solve problems that communities face,
• improve our capacity to solve such problems even more effectively in the future, and
• achieve our dream of an accountable and equitable democracy.

Through our projects, initiatives, and campaigns, we leverage limited resources to meet bold programmatic goals. We provide problem-solving services, coordinate diverse problem solvers, study the effectiveness of problem-solving approaches, and promote flexible adaptation to what research reveals. In our rebellious vision, savvy street problem solving and sophisticated interdisciplinary research routinely inform one another, both engaging and learning from low-income, of color, and immigrant communities and from anyone else who can help us meet our collective aspirations.
